Roast and Toast House Warming Party - Part 1 of 2

My friend Heather has been a big supporter since I first started blogging and I was so excited when she asked me to help her with a get together she was planning to celebrate her new home!  She wanted to keep it sweet and simple with mint green and black with a touch of red.  I researched ideas for a house warming party and we came up with a Roast and Toast where guests could roast marshmallows, make s'mores, and toast Heather and her new home with wine and other bubbly.

The following pictures of the items I decorated / made for the party.  I loved the moss (only $2 per bag at Walmart!), but it was very messy :)

This was my first attempt at water bottle labels - I love when I see these at parties - I hope to do more soon!

I was able to set this party up a week in advance since I had two back to back the weekend of the actual party.  Heather has the best side bar that was so beautiful as a backdrop for the s'mores pops & s'mores station.  We set up containers ready for s'mores ingredients (marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate).

Here is the food or "Snacks while you Toast" table

This shot shows Heather's beautiful kitchen - I love the colors!

I found this s'mores sprinkles mix at Michael's by Duff - it was awesome and perfect for the s'mores pops!

Here are the ingredients and tools for the s'mores pops.  I finally purchased this chocolate pro machine to melt the chocolate / candy wafers and keep them melted until the entire bag is finished.  It definitely makes dipping easier.

Here are the finished s'mores pops.  I here they tasted pretty good, but I never got the chance to try them - next time!

Here is Heather's dog Moose - too cute for words!

And this is Moose's friend Madison - so loving!!
