Hula Bear Birthday

I wish we were able to attend this party, but our friends (the proud parents) live in Louisiana.  At least we were there "in spirit" through providing some of the decorations for the birthday girl.  The hula bear theme came from where mom and dad met and their cute nickname for their beautiful little girl: Aly-Bear.  These pictures show the few things I designed / created to help decorate the party (invitation, birthday hat, birthday banner, detail signs).

Hoot of a 1st Birthday

My friend Lauren has been a great supporter of the events I've worked on and we were both so excited to finally work on one together for her daughter's 1st birthday!  Lauren knew exactly what she wanted and made it so easy for me to create things to go along with her owl themed ideas.  I really had so much fun with the dessert table backdrop and all of the desserts in turquoise, kiwi, and pink with little owl accents.  I also finally got to decorate cupcakes in the swirl pattern I love thanks to the help of these quick instructions from Wilton.

East Coast Football Fun

For the first Eagles game of each season we like to have everyone over for some east coast treats.  This year we not only got crabs from the Chesapeake - we purchased hoagies, tastykakes, and wise potato chips (from our local John's Philly Grille and Riteaid).  The dessert table included some Philadelphia Eagles swoopy and football cookie pops and some other treats like whipped cream vodka jello shots, chocolate cupcakes, store bought sugar cookies decorated with sugar sheets from Michaels, pudding shooters, and fruit.  All paper products and fan / pom pom backdrops were homemade and the flowers were from Trader Joe's.  We added a little mustaches just because and tied it in with a little favor lanyard that said - I mustache you a question - Are you ready for some football!?!

Sweet Romance Bridal Shower - Part 2 of 2

Here are pictures from the party setup.  I was very lucky to also attend this party and had an amazing time!  The bride-to-be, Victoria's friends and family are so nice and sweet and even though Victoria was the only one there I knew, I still felt so welcomed and had so much fun!

Dessert table 1 - strawberry & chocolate cake pops and strawberries & cream

Favor take out containers so guests could take more sweets home

Dessert table 2 - english toffe & meringue cookies from Trader Joes, strawberries & cream, and cake pops

Guests were asked to give the bride advice at this table; Victoria's sisters, bridesmaids,
and mother also held their prizes for games here; the games they played were amazing!
