D2D "Office Space"

I finally did it!  After months of storing things in our second bedroom (where we donated the 2nd bed to salvation army to make more room - and since we don't have many visitors), I finally organized everything.

Here is the before picture - pretty scary!

The first thing I did was take everything out, throw out the bad stuff, and organized the new stuff into bins, baskets, and boxes.  Here is the empty room.

I purchased, constructed, and earthquake proofed a bookshelf to organize everything all on my own!  Ok a guy from Ikea loaded into my car and my husband helped me load it into our apartment, but I did everything else!  It is a Billy Corner System from Ikea and I love it!  I can find everything now and have my own space to sit, design, print, cut, laminate, etc.

Here are the after pictures of the organized room.  The last ones show the labels I created for everything...

So far all I watch is Friends videos and I couldn't be happier!

Here's the removable "desk" - works perfectly in the space and is a great workspace.

My husband's sports memorabilia and some favors I've created on the top shelf.

Here are pictures of the labels I created for the bins so I could find everything.

And a mini sign for the door.

Rock with Reef 1st Birthday Party - Part 3 of 3

Ok - now for the DESSERTS!  As you can see in the first post here, I made the Rockstar Cake Pops, Marshmallow Rocker Pops, and some pretzel 'drum sticks'.  Our friend Maria from Rooney Girl Bake Shop (RGBS) donated the beautiful homemade zebra fondant smash cake and homemade microphone / guitar fondant cupcakes.  Everyone loved everything - especially Reef as you can see in the 'smashing' pictures below!

The second post of pictures can be found here and the and the invites for the party can be found here.

A big thank you to Maria & Ryan, Reef, Maria's parents, Maria from RGBS, Devin, and my husband for all the help, support, and everything you gave to help make this party a great success!

The happy couple (and their blue stained tongues) that made this day possible :)

The little rocker who gets cuter every day.

The happy family!
